Terms and Conditions

1.1. Anyone who has reached the age of 18 on the first day of the tournament is eligible to participate. Participation is at the participant's own risk and peril.

1.2. Teams must wear uniform jerseys. If the organiser provides jerseys, these must be worn by the participants.

1.3. The organiser will inform the participants of organisational measures before the start of the event. The instructions of the organiser and of its appropriately identified staff must be followed without exception. In the event of violations that disrupt the proper course of the event or may endanger the safety of the other participants, the organiser is entitled at any time to exclude the person concerned from the event and/or to pronounce their disqualification. Legally binding declarations may only be made to the participants by those persons authorised to do so by the organiser.

2.1. Registration is made in writing by sending in (by post or e-mail) the fully completed registration form.
The form can be downloaded online from the homepage www.pondhockey.at.
The registration is binding for the teams. After receipt of the registration form, the teams will receive a confirmation of receipt. A binding contract for participation in the event only comes into effect once the participation fee has been successfully collected by direct debit.
The fee is due for payment in full within one week of receipt of the confirmation of receipt.

2.2. Only "teams" of at least 4 and at most 9 participants are eligible to start. Registration is made as a complete team.

2.3. The participation fee for the PondHockey tournament Weissensee 2027 is € 400,- for registrations up to 31 August 2026. The exact scope of services included in a starting place can be found at www.pondhockey.at

2.4. Payments can only be made by direct debit or, for participants with a foreign bank account, by bank transfer (SEPA).

2.5. After receiving the registration, the organiser will send a confirmation of receipt to the participants. After collection of the participation fee, the organiser will send a definitive registration confirmation including payment confirmation.

2.6. Participation is transferable only in coordination with the organiser.

2.7. If a registered participant or team does not appear at the start or declares their non-participation to the organiser in advance, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.

2.8. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify individual participants or the entire team at any time and/or to exclude them from the event if they:

• violate the regulations and/or the rules and instructions (before or during the event) and

• persistently disrupt the event or endanger themselves and/or others

• do not follow the instructions of the event management or its staff

• provided false personal data when registering

2.9. The registration deadline for participation is 1 November 2026, unless the field of participants is complete before that date.

3.1. If the event is cancelled due to force majeure (e.g. bad weather), or in the case of non-appearance at or abandonment of the cup for reasons for which the organisers are not responsible, the participant has no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee or to compensation for other damages, such as travel or accommodation costs.

4.1. Claims for damages by the participant against the organiser or against third parties commissioned by the organiser with the running of the event are excluded.

4.2. The organiser assumes no liability for health risks of the participant in connection with participation in the PondHockey Weissensee tournament. It is the participant's responsibility to check their state of health beforehand. To take part in the tournament, it is mandatory to be in possession of a medical certificate. This certificate must not be older than one year at the time of the event. The certificate must be submitted, or a self-declaration must be signed confirming possession of a medical certificate. Each player is themselves responsible for proper equipment and must wear a helmet as well as elbow pads, shin guards and ice hockey gloves throughout the entire playing time, all of which must comply with the currently valid and applicable TÜV/GS standards.

4.3. The organiser assumes no liability for lost valuables, items of clothing or pieces of equipment.

4.4. If the participant engages third parties, e.g. rescue services, the resulting costs are to be borne by the participant, and the organiser has the right to collect any costs incurred from the participant.

4.5. It is recommended to take out private liability insurance for this type of event or to check existing insurance policies in this respect.

5.1. The organiser has taken out event liability insurance for liability cases for which it is responsible. The organiser expressly points out that many insurance companies exclude competitive racing activities from accident and liability insurance. Each participant should therefore clarify on their own responsibility with their insurer whether participation in the PondHockey Weissensee tournament is covered by their insurance.
