Almost 90 teams battled impressively through the qualification games on Friday and Saturday. Pure fun and excitement!
On Sunday, the decisive final games in the three groups - Champions, Buddy & Chillout Group - were on the programme. They were followed with excitement both at the centre court and via livestream.
In the Chillout Group, the Hasslacher Timber Squirrels won a close final 4:3 against the MeinBezirk Boys Lienz.
Lady power in the Buddy Group, where the VSV-Lady Hawks took a clear 5:1 victory against the Saloons from Salzburg.
In the final of the Champions Group, the VSV Oldstars triumphed impressively 7:2 against the Hopfenkrieger from Bavaria.
Despite all the sporting ambition, the focus in all groups was on the fun of ice hockey in its most original form.
Organisers Gerhard Brüggler and Christian Kresse are highly satisfied with the premiere and are already looking forward to the continuation of the International PondHockey Tournament from 15 to 17 January 2027.
