1. Conditions of Participation - Security Measures

1.1. Anyone who is 18 years old on the first day of the tournament is eligible to participate. Participation is at your own risk and risk.

1.2. The teams must wear uniform jerseys. If the organizer provides jerseys, these must be worn by the participants.

1.3. The organizer will announce organizational measures to the participants before the start of the event. The instructions of the organizer and his appropriately identified staff must be followed without fail. In the event of violations that could disrupt the proper course of the event or endanger the safety of the other participants, the organizer is entitled at any time to exclude the person concerned from the event and/or disqualify them. Legally binding declarations can only be made to participants by the organizer's authorized persons.

2. Registration - Participation fee - Payment conditions - Registration deadline

2.1. Registration is made in writing by sending (by post or email) the completely completed registration form.
The form can be downloaded online from the homepage www.pondhockey.at.
Registration is binding for the teams. After receiving the registration form, the teams will receive a confirmation of receipt. A binding contract for participation in the event is only concluded after the participation fee has been successfully collected by direct debit.
This is due for payment in full within one week of receipt of confirmation of receipt.

2.2. Only “teams” of at least 4 and a maximum of 9 participants are eligible to start. Registration takes place as a complete team.

2.3. The participation fee for the PondHockey Tournament Weissensee 2027 is € 400 for registrations by August 31, 2026. The exact scope of services for a starting place can be found at www.pondhockey.at

2.4. Payments can only be made by direct debit or, for participants with foreign bank details, by bank transfer (SEPA).

2.5. After receiving the registration, the organizer sends a confirmation of receipt to the participants. After collecting the participation fee, the organizer will send a definitive registration confirmation including payment confirmation.

2.6. Participation is only transferable in coordination with the organizer.

2.7. If a registered participant or team does not show up at the start or declares their non-participation to the organizer beforehand, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.  

2.8. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify individual participants or the entire team at any time and/or exclude them from the event if they:

• violates the regulations and/or the rules and instructions (before or during the event) and

• Sustainably disrupts the event or endangers yourself and/or others

• does not follow the instructions of the event management or its employees

• provided false information about personal data when registering

2.9. The registration deadline for participation is November 1st, 2026 if the field of participants is not complete before this date.

3. Cancellation of the event / non-attendance

3.1. If the event is canceled due to force majeure (e.g. bad weather), non-attendance or cancellation of the cup for reasons for which the organizers are not responsible, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee or to compensation for other damages, such as travel or accommodation costs.

4. Disclaimer

4.1. Claims for damages by the participant against the organizer or third parties commissioned by the organizer to carry out the event are excluded.

4.2. The organizer assumes no liability for health risks of the participant in connection with participation in the PondHockey Weissensee tournament. It is the participant's responsibility to check their state of health beforehand. To take part in the tournament it is mandatory to have a medical certificate. This certificate must not be older than one year at the time of the event. The certificate must be submitted or a self-declaration must be signed proving possession of a medical certificate. Each player must ensure that they have perfect equipment and must wear a helmet as well as elbow pads, shin pads and ice hockey gloves that comply with the valid and current TÜV/GS standards throughout the entire game.

4.3. The organizer assumes no liability for lost valuables, clothing and equipment.

4.4. If the participant commissions third parties, e.g. emergency services, the resulting costs must be borne by the participant himself or the organizer has the right to collect any costs incurred from the participant.

4.5. It is recommended to take out private liability insurance for this type of event or to check existing insurance policies in this regard.

5. Insurance

5.1. The organizer has taken out organizer liability insurance for liability cases for which he is responsible. The organizer expressly points out that many insurance companies exclude racing operations from accident and liability insurance. Each participant should therefore check with their insurer on their own responsibility whether participation in the PondHockey Weissensee tournament is covered by their insurance.
