Winner of the 1st PondHockey Tournament
Almost 90 teams impressively competed through the qualifying games on Friday and Saturday. Pure fun and excitement!
They finally stood on Sunday entscheidenden Finalspiele in den drei Gruppen - Champions-, Buddy- & Chillout-Group - auf dem program. These were watched with excitement both at center court and in the live stream.
In the Chill out group sat down the Hasslacher Timber Squirrels in a close final 4:3 against the MyBoys Lienz district through.
Lady power in the Buddy Group, they won there VSV Lady Hawks with a clear 5:1 win against the Saloons from Salzburg.
In the final of the Champions Group they triumphed VSV Oldstars impressively with 7:2 against them Hop warriors from Bavaria.
Despite all the sporting ambitions, the focus in all groups was on having fun with ice hockey in its most original form.
The organizers Gerhard Brüggler and Christian Kresse are very satisfied with the premiere and are already looking forward to the continuation of the International PondHockey Tournament January 15th to 17th, 2027.
